I highly recommend Vera Magee as a newborn photographer! It takes someone special to do those. My husband is a photographer and has done weddings, senior portraits, head shots and more. But he is NOT cut out for newborn pictures. He just doesn’t have the patience. Vera, on the other hand, is one of the most patient people I’ve ever met! I brought both my newborn and my four-year-old, hoping to get a few pictures of the girls together. In the beginning, my older child was not cooperating! She was getting under my skin, but not Vera’s. I’m sure my lack of sleep had something to do with it. The warm environment, used to coax babies to sleep, made me sleepy too. I ended up laying down on the carpet and using a pillow she had as a prop to doze lightly. Before I knew it, Vera had my newborn asleep and was posing her and my oldest was pushing around a baby buggy Vera had as a prop. She ended up getting some very cute photos of my oldest pushing her sleeping sister in the baby buggy. It was too cute!

I cannot say enough good things about Vera! She did our maternity and newborn photos and both sets turned out fantastically! Vera has such a professional manner and really knows what she’s doing. She’s affordable and flexible. She knew exactly how to comfort my 8 day old baby girl when I, as a new mom, could not. She’s a photography genius! I have already told many people about her work and everyone is highly pleased with the photos I show them. If and when we need more we will definitely be using Vera. 🙂
